In February of 2023, an earthquake of magnitude 7.8 struck Turkey and the aftershocks claimed thousands of lives, and affected many more.

In response to the catastrophe we at UFH , undertaking our first ever international project decided to provide aid and comfort to those affected.. Through our personal connections, volunteers, and the Turkish Embassy, we mobilised resources and began collecting essential items to send to the earthquake victims.

More than 400 quilts and blankets, 200 sleeping bags, 200 baby formula and diapers, and 300+ winter wear were distributed. Apart from that, 10 tents were also installed, each costing 10,000 rupees.
