Aarif's Story

Arif, a tailor, lost his shop and livelihood during violent riots, leaving his family in despair. With no other income source, they faced starvation.

However, the UFH team intervened, providing Arif with two sewing machines and renovating his shop. This support allowed him to rebuild his business and support his family. Arif's story highlights the resilience of the human spirit, but many families are still struggling to recover from the riots.

Delhi Riot Relief

In the 2020 Delhi riots, the charitable organization UFH implemented a multi-phased approach to support the most vulnerable victims. This included providing immediate relief, conducting detailed surveys, and offering targeted long-term assistance to help families restart their livelihoods.

A New Hope for Rukhsana

The communal riots of February 2020 in Shiv Vihar, Delhi left Rukhsana with nothing as all of her savings were looted which included 3 lakh rupees and all of her jewellery.

In response to Rukhsana's situation, The UFH team organised a fundraiser which collected around 21,200 rupees, offering much needed aid to Rukhsana and her family.
