United for Humanity's multi-year commitment to bringing warmth, dignity, and hope to vulnerable communities (2018–2025)

In winter 2018, United for Humanity (UFH) organised a collection drive in New Delhi's slum areas, such as Shram Vihar, South Delhi, and Gaffar Manzil, to provide essential items like warm clothes, blankets, and shoes to residents struggling with the harsh weather conditions. UFH collaborated with Aaghaaz e Taleem, a prominent NGO in Delhi, to amplify their efforts.

Together, they distributed 100 fresh jackets, blankets, and clothing materials, focusing on the needs of infants and children.

This collaboration significantly improved the lives of those in these slum areas, and UFH remains dedicated to providing ongoing support to ensure a better quality of life for those in need.

Breaking the record of 118 years of cold winters, 2019 was particularly harsh. Homeless people suffered the most in the national capital. Team UFH distributed 100+ blankets, 200+ warm essential clothes, thus helping 60+ families.

A dedicated team of volunteers from UFH embarked on a mission to bring warmth and comfort to those who need it the most.

Over the course of several weeks, UFH visited various slums and homeless shelters and distributed around 200 jackets, blankets and other warm clothing items to those in need.

Through community engagement and outreach, Team UFH successfully raised funds to support the Winter Distribution Night for the slum children in Deoband.

The donations enabled the team to procure warm clothing items, including hoodies, lowers, and t-shirts to 150 children in the locality.

United for Humanity (UFH) recognized the severe challenges vulnerable communities face during harsh winters, where lack of essentials left many exposed to cold-related health risks.

In response, UFH launched Project Hayat 3.0, distributing winter kits containing blankets, jackets, socks, caps, and gloves to 200 families at just ₹1000 per kit. Additionally, over 100 blankets were given to hospital patients exposed to cold. This effort brought vital warmth and protection, improving well-being and comfort.

Project Hayat 3.0 highlights the power of community support and inspires UFH to continue its mission, proving that united compassion can create lasting change.

In 2024, United for Humanity (UFH) launched Project Hayat, a two-phase initiative supporting underprivileged communities during winter in Noor Nagar and Shram Vihar.

Phase 1 involved a Winter Awareness Workshop educating residents on health risks and preventive care. Phase 2 focused on distributing blankets to vulnerable families, including children and the elderly, providing crucial warmth. Over 40 beneficiaries received education and resources to endure the harsh season safely.

Project Hayat 2024 exemplifies UFH's dedication to holistic community welfare by combining awareness with immediate aid to empower vulnerable populations toward lasting well-being.

In January 2025, United for Humanity (UFH) launched Project Libaas to provide warm winter clothing to madrasa students and underprivileged children while supporting local tailors with sustainable livelihoods.

By sourcing fabric and partnering with artisans, UFH empowered tailors with dignified work and income. Three distribution drives were held at a madrasa in Jamia Nagar, Shram Vihar slum, and local madrasas, ensuring children received essential winter clothing such as kurta pajamas. Dozens of children were kept warm, and local tailors earned vital livelihood support.

Project Libaas 2025 highlights UFH's commitment to compassionate, sustainable aid that fosters dignity and resilience.
